With the Luxman E-07 phono preamplifier, you’re bringing home a special anniversary model celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary.
Reaching a century is no small feat—especially in the world of electronics. To mark this occasion, Luxman has introduced the E-07: an MM/MC phono preamp built to honor the brand’s legacy. It features three sets of inputs—including balanced XLR for MC cartridges—allowing for a wide range of connection options. Internally, it’s designed as a fully balanced dual-mono circuit, which enhances channel separation and ensures highly detailed sound reproduction. The MM and MC circuits are completely separated, and you’ll find DIP switches on the rear and a rotary selector on the front for optimal configuration.
According to Luxman, the E-07 uses four parallel-connected FETs in an unbalanced configuration in the first gain stage. This approach, the company states, plays a major role in achieving excellent sound quality characterized by minimal noise and maximum signal purity. Additionally, the E-07 features a power supply with three separate transformers—one dedicated to each phono input.
The E-07 is priced at €6,490.
